Why Superimposing a Hair Style over your Face
is "Not" an Analysis

Here is why a superimposed hairstyle over your face is by no means an analysis of your features or hair potential. Many salons use a computer generated overlay program to overlay a subjective hair style over your face and call it an analysis. This is a flawed subjective and not objective comparison that does not take into account the differences in diameter of the overlaid example hair or the number of hairs per square centimeter, root direction or feature strengths and weaknesses.

Not only do I scientifically measure and analyze the face, neck and shoulders, I sometimes go as far as to measure the diameter of clients hair shafts in hundredths of a millimeter because it turns out the diameters vary as much as 100 percent from client to client. This means a woman whose hair is half the diameter of another, must cut her hair half as short in the same style to get the same hang or shape as the woman with larger diameter hair. My hair measuring methodology is using a microscope with a measuring reticule on the screen. (No heuristic methods here!)
